There are two classes of disability that may qualify you for Social Security disability benefits: mental disabilities, and physical disabilities. This page will discuss the physical disability side of things.

However, keep in mind that simply having a qualifying physical disability doesn’t necessarily mean that you will qualify to apply for disability. When the SSA examines a case, they are much more concerned with how your physical disability impacts your daily life than they are with the name of your disability.

If you believe you have a physical disability that would qualify you for disability benefits, we can help you with the application process. If for some reason you are initially denied benefits, we can help you with the appeals process as well.
